Vine doesn’t as yet have analytics for you to see how you’re doing on a daily, weekly or monthly basis like Facebook does, but there are a few ways you can still use to measure your Vine marketing.
As you should know Twitter owns Vine, this means vine videos can be easily shared to twitter and played within the Twitter network. This gives you the chance to add hashtags to the tweet copy, and send it to twitter where you can then use tools to measure your hashtag success.
Hashtags are trackable and there are a few free tools available that you can use to track them, one of these tools is tweetreach, tweetreach searches through all the tweets on Twitter and finds every mention of any search term you request for. So, simply search for your custom-made hashtag for your Vine videos, and the tool will tell you how many tweets that hashtag received, how many impressions it received, and how many people it reached. This will give you a look into how you’re doing on Vine.
Month To Month Follower Growth
Another way to measure your Vine efforts is by Tracking your Follower growth on a monthly basis which will give you an idea of how your reach and fan base has increased on the mobile app due to your Vine videos.
You can calculate this with a very simple equation
(This Month Followers – Last Month Followers) / (This Month Followers) * 100 = % Growth
These methods are very simple and effective for the time being until Vine rolls out its own analytics within the app.
